Location

The Henry sits on a ridge overlooking the Spuyten Duyvil Creek to the south, with spectacular views of the Henry Hudson Bridge and the surrounding salt marshes. Spuyten Duyvil is just a stone's throw from Manhattan and offers a stunning natural landscape within a convenient urban setting.

Transportation to Manhattan couldn’t be easier. By car, midtown is a 30-minute ride, or hop a train for 22-minute direct service to Grand Central Terminal. The Henry is a four minute walk to the Bx10, Bx20, BxM1, BxM2 and BxM18…though once you’re here, you may never want to leave.

Many young families are attracted to Riverdale by the schools that grace the neighborhood. At the public elementary, middle and high schools, test scores surpass city averages. Riverdale is also home to New York City’s three prestigious “Hill Schools”, the Horace Mann School, the Ethical Culture Fieldston School and Riverdale Country School – all members of the Ivy Preparatory School League – and two Roman Catholic colleges: The College of Mount Saint Vincent and Manhattan College.

Enjoy the myriad parks convenient to The Henry, including Henry Hudson Park, Setan Park, and the expansive Van Cortlandt Park, which features an olympic-size pool, beach volleyball, tennis courts, stables, and acres of green space.

Riverdale is a destination for dining in the Bronx. The neighborhood fulfills the foodie in everyone, with plenty of international influences reflecting the vibrancy of the neighborhood. Moss Cafe, Bronx Alehouse, Lloyd’s Carrot Cake, and Aoyo Sushi are just a few local favorites.
